No purchase is necessary.  All are invited to register and audition, but please note that you must be a resident of the USA to be hired for the CBS Booking. Auditions must be recorded by your own means and submitted as an MP3 file. Final submissions must be uploaded no later than November 20, 2022 at 11:59pm Pacific time. Up to forty (40) contestants will be notified by November 28, 2022, to be confirmed for the callback audition round to take place live, onsite at the Burbank Marriott Convention Center with the 2nd round judges on December 15, 2022 (exact time to be announced).

The Final 6 contestants will be announced on the same day (December 15, 2022) during That’s Voiceover!™ Career Expo (TVO) and will compete on-stage before a live audience. (exact time to be announced). Audition Spotlight™ “candidates” do not have to be TVO ticket-holders to take part in, or complete the audition process. However, auditioners without tickets will not be admitted into the general conference activities. Tickets for the general conference can be purchased HERE. 

One contestant will be selected as the winner, and receive a Paid Booking for CBS LA, a 3-month Representation agreement with SBV Talent Agency, a Neumann TLM 103 studio microphone, a pair of Neumann NDH 20 Studio Headsets, two VIP tickets to the 2023 Voice Arts® Awards Gala, a Kaotica Eyeball, and, of course, the white-hot spotlight of accomplishment! If the winning candidate is already represented by a talent agent, the job will still be booked through SBV Talent Agency (“Agency of Record”), unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing between the winning candidate and the “Agency of Record.” The five runners up will not be left empty-handed. each will receive a lush swag bag from Sennheiser and Neumann featuring, among other gifts, a Neumann TLM 102 Microphone.

This audition is offered to all. The first audition is online, right here! See the link below to download the script and rules.  There is no fee to submit an audition nor to complete the audition process. Selected finalists (top 40) must be present onsite to complete the 2nd round callback, as well as the 3rd (final) round of the audition process. All required details will be emailed to the top 40 contenders. Due to the high volume of participants and our limited staff, you will not be notified unless you are among the top 40. 

Entries must be received by November 20, 2022, at 11:59 PM Pacific to be eligible for the Contest.
